I don't know how many time's I tried to make one myself..But I am no good at building a website lol.
Anyways I'm not very old only 24 years old. Deal in the paranormal alot. I would be one of those people that can see, hear, feel the dead. Yeah right there's a GIANT turn off and no one wants to believe me after I tell them that much. But well its not like I'm trying to toot my own horn with it. Yes it can be cool but it's always scary. I think I've ran into more scary stuff than anything. And I point a finger at the area I live in, and the negative enviroment that is around here. Well friends, I have been working on and testing bugs with the newest version of Ghostsstory. This version will include a massive user-interface overhaul, major improvements and bug fixes.

The mobile site will see a huge upgrade with much needed features(add ghost stories, events, videos, photos, polls, quizzes straight from your phone) Pretty much anything you can do on the desktop-site you'll now be able to do on your smart-phone.

A few things to clear up before I'm asked:

A release date is not yet set, but will be before the end of the year.

All of your content will be imported to the newest version, so nothing will be lost.

I've been debating allowing uploads of video directly to the site. However, hosting options would have to be upgraded and even more so with the inclusion of new members and that can get quite expensive(but we'll see how it goes).

You'll be able to watch videos in the activity-feed(kind of like Facebook).

Activity points will actually have a use.

Groups will now be Pages. You'll be able to login as your page and back to your account.


There is A LOT more features and upgrades you'll just have to check out upon release. Of course, I'll be there to assist you in any questions you may have.

More information will be released as progress is made.

I have told many people this story and many have found it hard to believe or sceptic about it. But to be honest I don't care :L I know what happened and it will stick with me forever. I know ghosts are real!

Anyway after the incident I told my mother and she was taking no risks. I remember she got a priest which blessed the house and apparently got rid of this "old man" he said. Things have been normal ever since but on the odd occasion I really feel like I'm being watched. Thanks for reading my story and sorry for not keeping it short. As a teenager, I'd frequently drift out of my body. It would start when I was laying in bed, my body tired but my mind alert. My eyes would be open, looking at the wall at the foot of my bed; then they'd blink, and finally close. But I would notice that when they were closed, I could still see the wall - and not as an afterimage, but in full color and fine detail.

Then, as my body would sink deeper into sleep, the 'point of perception' as I call it would drift out from behind my eyes and away from my bed, down the hall, sometimes outside. I was usually in a state of terror, as I thought I was dreaming and my dreams tended to be nightmares. "At any moment," my mind wailed, "a monster or demon shall spring forth and pursue me." But that never happened. I never encountered other beings, physical or spiritual, in these experiences.

Eventually there would be a sharp dropping sensation, and I would awaken in bed with a jerk, feeling as if I were falling.

This happened many times - almost on a nightly basis - and indeed I still experience the sudden drop sensation, so I suspect that it still happens but that I'm now either unaware of drifting from my body or forget about it after it's over.

But one out-of-body experience differed radically from those described above. It happened in my mid-teens. My family lived, at that time, in a small cluster of campers and trailers. My parents slept in one trailer, I in another, and my sister slept in a camper. At the time of the experience, I was severely ill with the flu. I didn't handle colds or flus well as a kid, and was sick and miserable. I sat on a small wooden bench next to the woodstove in my parent's trailer and stared into space - something I often did even when I wasn't ill, as life was spectacularly boring where we lived.

At some point I decided to go to bed. I suspect I already had a fever at that time. Now things began to get interesting; I shall have to interpose between what I experienced and what I later gathered had happened:

I went to my bed in my trailer and laid down on it. But, apparently, I did not remain there long; it seems I got up and returned to my parents' trailer, and laid down beside them on their bed. I have absolutely no recollection of doing this.

My next memory, after going to my bed, is of waking up in my bed - in a state of absolute bliss and ecstasy. If I had a face, there would have been a smile on it. At one point I suspected I was dreaming.

"Well," thought I, "all my dreams are nightmares. Are there any monsters under my bed?" And so I looked under my bed, and saw there were no monsters there. (But I was still in a state of ecstasy, rather than the state of terror which was normal for me in dreams or in my other out-of-body experiences.) Yet, something seemed amiss and I continued to suspect that I was dreaming.

Well, another aspect of my dreams was inconsistency, that nothing could hold a form, that anything I looked at would shift and change as I looked at it. If I attempted to read words written on anything in a dream, the letters would shift and change and never form complete, intelligible words. So I undertook to examine objects very closely and see whether they changed from one thing to another under my scrutiny.

On the table in my trailer was an odd knick-knack made by my grandmother; a small tea-strainer she'd adorned with green plastic jewels. I looked at this very closely and noted the fine details, and that it did not shift forms under my inspection. I was satisfied then that I was not dreaming.

On a chair by the table sat a large oil-painting I'd been working on; a landscape riddled with streams. I gazed on it blissfully and asked a question: "Is the green country awake?"

A voice inside my head asked me: "How do you feel?" I replied "Pretty weird."

I spoke a total of four statements; those are the only two I now recall.

My next recollection was of waking up in my parents' bed, wondering how I'd gotten there. They told me I'd come walking back in moments after leaving for my bed, and climbed into theirs and laid down. My mother heard me ask "Is the green country awake?" and it was she who asked me "How do you feel?" She also heard my reply and the other two statements I'd made.

A few other things began to sink in: when I'd looked under my bed to check for monsters, I had done so in a rather unorthodox manner. I had not craned my head and peered over the side of my bed; I had looked directly down through my bed - indeed, through where my belly should have been had my body been lying there!

And when I had examined the tea-strainer knick-knack on my table, I had not levered myself out of bed and walked over to the table. Instead, my point of perception had just zoomed straight over to the table, like a TV camera zooming in on something.

And I should not have been able to see anything in my trailer. We had no electricity; I had no candles or kerosene lamps lit at the time; it was a pitch black night with thick cloud-cover and no moon or starlight. Yet, the inside of my trailer had been suffused with light, allowing me to see absolutely everywhere, including under my bed, which my lamp had been in no position to illuminate even if it had been lit.
